July 2026 As most of you who are reading this report already know, the Salmon Cove Future Development Association (SCFDA) underwent changes towards the end of 2025. A new board was installed with the undersigned as President, and Ms. Laura Slade as vice-president. It is to that end the new board felt it was appropriate to inform the general public (in particular the residents of Salmon Cove and Council) of our goals and aspirations, and what we have accomplished to date.
Firstly, it is important that everyone knows that the SCFDA now meet monthly and keep detailed minutes of each meeting, with specific emphasis on motions and actions. Anyone with an interest in what the association is doing (or not doing) is welcome to join the SCFDA. We welcome everyone’s opinions, especially when presented in a positive and constructive manner. Please bear in mind that, for all intents and purposes, we are new at this and have been struggling somewhat with past legacy.
